Emily Sanchez, Master Level Intern

Starting therapy and being vulnerable with someone takes a lot of courage, and it shows a true desire to grow and heal. That step towards healing should be celebrated.

Everyone has their own unique story, and what has happened in our past affects who we are and how we experience the world and relationships today. I believe that as humans, we are fundamentally relational, and relationships can both be the source of healing and the source of pain. Having a space to process the pain without judgment is essential for healing.

Counseling can foster growth and healing through connection. As a therapist, I want to be able to get to know each individual from their perspective and work together towards their goals.
