Jesse Ortega, Master Level Intern

Are you in a season of life where you feel isolated, stuck, overwhelmed, helpless, or just not feeling your best? You are not alone! Everyone struggles -, whether that be in relationships, friendships, marriage, or family dynamics. Facing hardships in life is not uncommon and is something you should never face alone or be ashamed of. Seeking help is not a sign of weakness, but one of the most courageous things you can do as a human being.

No one understands you better than yourself, and I am passionate about collaborating with you to help you understand and work through your struggles and move toward a story of healing and redemption. My goal is to walk alongside you, hear your personal story and lived experience, and collaboratively talk through resolutions, alleviation, and healthy management of the concerns, feelings, and thoughts that you bring to the counseling relationship.

Because every person has a unique and complex set of beliefs, values, and cultural backgrounds, my utmost desire is to create a safe and empathetic environment for you to process, wrestle with, and manage the life circumstances and where you find yourself today. I am confident that you will discover and learn more about yourself as well as your needs and goals as you pursue a more whole and informed well-balanced life and health; mentally, physically, and spiritually. I am dedicated to building a strong therapeutic alliance and am eager to walk with you as you move forward and begin to live an abundant and fulfilling life with meaningful and lasting change.
