Megan Samelson, LPC

As a mental health counselor, I am passionate about helping individuals of all ages navigate their unique journeys towards emotional well-being. With a diverse range of clients, I bring a compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy. My expertise lies in three main therapeutic modalities: internal family systems, narrative counseling, and attachment theory.

In my practice, I utilize the principles of internal family systems to explore the intricate dynamics within individuals and their various internal "parts." By fostering self-awareness and promoting healing among these parts, clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and develop healthier relationships. Additionally, I incorporate narrative counseling techniques to empower clients in reshaping their life stories, enabling them to reclaim agency and create positive change. Lastly, with a strong foundation in attachment theory, I guide individuals in exploring the impact of early relationships on their current well-being, helping them to build secure and fulfilling connections.

With a genuine commitment to supporting clients on their healing journey, I provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for exploration and growth. Together, we will work collaboratively to cultivate resilience, restore balance, and foster lasting positive change.
