Myldha Verdelus, Master Level Intern

Healing can be difficult. Navigating the multiple relationships, choices, and tensions in your life can feel like a dark and lonely road- a bumpy one scattered with rocks of impossibility or divots of fear and sadness you may want to skip over. Whatever your path looks like, I am here to walk alongside you to help you take that very next step.

My counseling approach is one that respects and honors you as the expert of your life. I adopt a person-centered approach, utilizing relational and experiential strategies of narrative therapy and Gestalt therapy to help uncover those deeper questions and inner places of ambivalence, hurt, and longing which impact your ability to live a life in alignment with your true self. I believe you will come to find the answers you are searching for through a deeper presence and awareness of yourself. I long to journey with you as you rediscover and reengage with those parts of you may have left behind.

I look forward to holding space with you, to offer warmth and compassion in our shared times. I want you to know that you are not alone. In fact, you are further along than you think by reaching out for help. As you heal, I believe you will come to see how integral a part of your own journey you are and that you can be fully and deeply known by others and by yourself.
